What is the Matching Engine?

The Matching Engine is an Enterprise Business System for Copyright Management Organisations.

It is a fully cloud native solution including modules to support Repertoire Management, Data Ingestion, Usage, Distribution and Membership Services.

Do you integrate to and from international databases (CISNet, ISWC, IPI)?

Yes. Our solution includes full two way integration with SUISA IPI, CIS-Net and the ISWC Database using modern web services approaches to ensure that information is up-to-date in near real time.

What Technology Service Type is used?

SaaS. Software including hosting and all management of technical environment provided as a managed service.

What Cloud Technology is used?

Microsoft Azure

Do you have a Dedicated Support Desk?

Yes. We have a dedicated support desk for supporting Matching Engine customers. Spanish Point offer all our customers 24 x 7 x 365 annual and draw-down support capabilities.

We work with our customers to support and manage their Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365/Office 365 environments.

Can I configure Matching Rules?

Yes. Our solution supports configuration of advanced matching and data validation rules that can be configured on a source by source basis.

How do you deal with Counterclaim Resolution?

Our ingestion, matching and posting process includes automated conflict detection with workflows for resolution.

Do you handle other repertoires than musical works?

Yes. The Matching Engine is currently used for managing music and literary rights. We have designed it to be flexible so that it can accommodate other types of repertoire.

Do you support Society specific rules that are not industry standard?

Yes. The Matching Engine is highly configurable especially in terms of managing different share sets for different combinations of right type, territory etcIt has an extensive carve in / carve out structure that recognizes and supports common industry trendsWe have designed the modules so that they are extensible where we can add additional configuration rules to support new or customer unique requirements. 

How do you deal with Automated Matching And Merging?

The Matching Engine includes sophisticated repertoire matching and merging rules. In addition it includes a modern ingestion engine that routes work registrations through an automated configurable process that minimizes manual activities. The matching and merging processes are based on the same core functionality and rules that are used by the ISWC database, the international standard for work identification.

Do you deal with Share Calculations?

Yes. The Matching Engine supports source specific and region / territory specific rules including rules that drive share calculation.
